PHOTOGRAPHY PORTFOLIO
Below are some examples of my photography work. I shoot a range of subjects including architecture, landscapes and street. All of the subject matter is located at my back door, within Brooklyn and New York City. I regularly walk through these areas to shoot and document what is around me, often in a way that shows the familiar from a different perspective. The mundane uniformity of apartment blocks becomes a concise geometric composition, Prospect Park in fog becomes 'otherworldly' and Coney Island is transformed from a crowded summer playground by a winter snowstorm. Candid shots from the street show the many faces of everyday New York City while new architectural projects such as the Oculus transport hub in lower Manhattan continues transform the landscape.
