Matthew J. Ruys feat. Speech 'People X People' (Diamond Field Remix)
Out now - the Diamond Field remix of Matthew J. Ruys’ new single 'People X People' feat. Speech.
This remix takes us back to the 80s for a little of that Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis Flyte Tyme sound. The remix version features a rap from Speech which is different to the single version.
Julez - I'm Your Man
I played a little bit of synth on this new single for LA-based artist Julez.
Vocals/Guitar - Jules Batterman
Drums - Casey Weissbuch
Bass - Chris Insignares
Synth - Andrew B. White/Sam Barna
Mix/Production - Sam Barna
Additional Production - Matt Ebbers
Album Art - Jacqueline Spaventa
Milaro 'A Better Way' Diamond Field Rework
Out now - the Diamond Field rework of Milaro’s debut single ‘A Better Way’.
This rework ups the tempo of the original for a mid-80s Ultravox style result.
Julez 'New Connection'
I was lucky to play synth on 'New Connection', the brand new song from New Jersey artist Julez. The track was recorded at Brooklyn's Figure 8 Studios and produced/mixed by Sam Barna. The studio has some great vintage gear and for this track I used a Roland Juno 60, a patch I customized and recorded direct with no MIDI.
Vocals/Guitar - Jules Batterman
Drums - Casey Weissbuch
Bass - Chris Insignares
Synth - Andrew B. White
Mix/Production - Sam Barna
Mastering - Steven Meara
Art - Annabelle Weatherly
