Dave Dobbyn “Available Light“ Vinyl Release

Earlier in 2025, Dave Dobbyn’s 2005 album “Available Light” was released on vinyl.
In 2005 the album hit the New Zealand Top 40 at #3 and featured the Top 10 hit “Welcome Home”.
Previously only available on CD (the early 2000s were not favorable to vinyl releases), “Available Light” was released on vinyl for the first time. To create the artwork for the vinyl release we were able to use our original art files which had been archived, as well as Dave’s digital photos which also had been backed-up. The album was mastered for vinyl by Neil Baldock.

The vinyl release features a double-sided insert and is pressed on black vinyl.

In memory of Dave’s long time manager Lorraine Barry who sadly passed away just as the vinyl reissue was released. Thanks Lorraine for all you did!


New Album Art - Dave Dobbyn "Harmony House"

Dave Dobbyn is one of New Zealand's most successful and admired songwriters. I had the pleasure to work with him once again for his new album "Harmony House".

Released on both CD and LP formats (as well as digital), the CD is housed in a gatefold cardboard sleeve and the LP is single 12" sleeve with a double-sided insert.
The illustration of the tree house is by Dave.
The front and back cover photography is by myself, the portrait of Dave is by Spid and the inside photos are by Dave, Sam Scott and Luke Buda.
The overall design was intended to be clean and simple.
