Several of my images made the initial short lists for the 2011 Mobile Photo Awards in the following categories:
• Black and White
• Waterscapes
• Beach
• Wildlife
One image made the short list in two categories ('White Coud') and two images made the final five - 'White Cloud' in Waterscapes and 'Lilah Study' in Wildlife.
Considering the number of great works submitted I feel very honored.

The Exhibition will consist of large format photographs taken with the iPhone and edited completely within the iPhone. The show will feature iPhoneographers from around the globe. Only twenty five photographs have been selected from hundreds submitted.

I'm doing a small presentation on iPhoneography at the MINA Mobile Creativity and Innovation Symposium in Wellington along with some of my contemporaries Isabelle MissPixels Gagné and Roger Guetta from Canada.

The first single from new band Two Way Radio will be released on LucaDiscs in November 2011.
The song 'Next Life' is a mid tempo rock track featuring the songwriting and vocal talents of Danik Sygrove.
It was recorded at Auckland's Roundhead studio A by Nic Manders and mastered by Andy van Dett at Masterdisk in NYC.

We have headed to Roundhead studio A in Auckland to start mixing tracks for the new album "Edge Of The City". The songs have been recorded over an 18 month period. The original tracks were done at Roundhead studio B with Neil Baldock engineering and additional production from Wayne Bell. Sounding pretty good so far.

This show will be exhibited at the Giorgi Gallery, Berkeley CA.

Thursday, September 22, P1xels returns to Berkeley, California’s Giorgi Gallery with an entirely new exhibit of photography completely shot and processed using only an iPhone.
This new show runs from Thursday, September 22 through Sunday, October 30, 2011 at the Giorgi Gallery and features all new works from most of the world’s premier iphoneographers, as they prefer to be called.”
The show runs from September 22 to October 30, 2011. Opening night party is September 24, 6-10 p.m.
